Is transportation provided from the Tampa International Airport to the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay?Yes, the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay offers this service. Complimentary Shuttle: Available to and from Tampa International Airport (5 minutes away) departing the hotel every half hour or upon request for pick up. To request airport pick up, claim your checked bags and call the hotel at 813.874.1234.Exit the side doors for Ground Transportation closest to baggage belt Blue #7 or Red #9.

What are my options for getting to/from the airport and hotel?
- Taxi service by Yellow Cab and United Cab is available at the curbside outside the Baggage Claim Level. Both companies charge the same fares: $2.50, plus $2.40 per mile. The minimum fee from the airport is $15. For more information, contact Yellow Cab at (813) 253-0121 or United Cab at (813) 777-7777.
- Shared Passenger Van Service. Airport limos and shared passenger van service is available through advance reservation or walk-up booking. Enclosed, air conditioned lobbies are available at either end of the Baggage Claim areas for passengers to wait until shared vans are ready for boarding.
- Uber and Lyft are also available at Tampa International Airport.
Should I rent a car?If you have other business to conduct in the Tampa Bay area, then we recommend you rent a vehicle or use Uber. You will not need a vehicle once you are on the resort property.
What is the deadline for hotel reservations and what is the cost?The Room Block Deadline: February 11, 2019
Government Rate: $154 USD/Night (plus applicable taxes and fees)
Note: To qualify for the government room rate, you must be Active Duty Military or a Current Government Civilian and must present a valid government ID at the time of check-in. This rate is not valid for Government retirees.
Industry Rate: $279 USD/Night (plus applicable taxes and fees)
Once I am on-site, where do I check-in for the Symposium?Please check in at the Registration Desk in the Grand Hyatt foyer straight past the bar/restaurant near the main hotel entrance. There you will get your name badge, which we kindly ask you to wear at all times while at the Symposium.

Is wireless Internet access available?Wireless Internet access is available in all guest rooms and meeting spaces. Resort guests will receive instructions to access WiFi in their hotel room upon check-in.

What are the requirements for Media attendance?Members of the media must register online and submit required information. Attendance is subject to review and approval.
Does GSF use an Event App?Yes, we do! We use Whova which will give you the ability to enhance your event experience. You will be able to view the agenda, read speaker biographies, personalize your own schedule, connect with other attendees, scan business cards, check into sessions, and more. For iOS devices, you can download from the iTunes App Store; for Android devices, download from Google Play; for Blackberry/Window phones, it is available on the Web. Once downloaded, create an account, then look for the "2019 Global SOF Symposium - US".
